I had the pleasure of working with Maridee at The DDC Group, and I can say without hesitation that she brought both exceptional skill and genuine warmth to everything she touched.

Maridee is one of those rare people who can hold the complexity of enterprise-scale platforms — strategy, architecture, governance, usability — without losing sight of the people on either end of the work. She navigated the M365 ecosystem with real depth, but one of the things that stood out most was her work on Copilot adoption across the organisation.

She didn't just roll out a tool — she built a training programme that reached everyone, from the C-suite to frontline staff, and made sure Copilot was accessible regardless of whether someone was on a free or paid tier. That kind of thinking — meeting people where they are, not where you wish they were — is rare, and it made a real difference to how the organisation actually engaged with AI.

Any organisation that brings Maridee on board will get someone who makes hard things manageable, brings structure without bureaucracy, and genuinely cares about doing the work well. I'd work with her again without a second thought.

​​Maridee O’Day worked with me to complete a significant SharePoint project for a major yacht club in the Seattle area.  This project involved the ground up development and creation of 2 SharePoint sites for long term storage of club content.  There are two sites, one for the Membership and a site for the Staff.  Users include over 88 committees, 4 Staff departments and dozens of related sub departments, Leadership and general membership.  All of which have a potential of over 3,500 internal and external users.  She stressed the importance of best practices across both sites must be utilized to ensure security, easy navigation, documentation, and a self-evident structure for the membership. 

 

After implementation, her continued support has been exceptional; timely responses, follow up user support, and audits of the permission structure of both sites.  Several years later, with the deprecation of the Classic SharePoint, we needed to migrate to the Modern version.  Maridee oversaw the planning and complete migration without any issues - on time and within budget. 

 

Overall, Maridee exhibited numerous qualities which lead to a successful completion of our project.  She was pro-active, timely and efficient, extremely knowledgeable, and excellent communication and follow up to name a few of her qualities.   I would use her consulting services again without reservation and would highly recommend her to anyone.

It is really good news when you get to work with Maridee. Not only is she incredibly smart and capable, but she is also an excellent and much-appreciated colleague.
